Woodcroft College is set on spacious, landscaped grounds with modern buildings including a 350 seat hall, a commercial kitchen and gymnasium. The College has specialist classrooms including science laboratories, tech centre and art rooms, and all learning spaces are well equipped with modern resources and up to date technology. The grounds offer extensive sports fields and courts along with green spaces for students to enjoy being outdoors.
In Year 10 core subjects will be complemented by the choice of electives, opportunities to explore the VET pathway and study subjects at SACE Stage 1 level. Core subjects are English, Mathematics, Science, History, Personal Learning Plan and Physical Education (PE). Electives include subjects from Design and Technology, Health, Music, Art, Languages, Drama, Geography and Specialist PE.
All students complete compulsory Stage 1 SACE subjects for Literacy and Numeracy and can start their Stage 2 Research Project. With English and Mathematics as the two core subjects, students will have multiple subject choices across a range of key learning areas including Design, Technology and Engineering, Health & Personal Development, Humanities, Languages, Music, Outdoor Education, Physical Education, Sciences, Visual Arts, Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Year 12 students will complete their Stage 2 SACE and the subjects selected should reflect individual interests while providing variety and appropriate level of challenge to prepare for a chosen post school pathway. Students have multiple subject choices across a range of key learning areas including Design, Technology and Engineering, Digital Technologies, English, Health & Personal Development, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Music, Outdoor Education, Physical Education, Sciences, Visual Arts, Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Woodcroft College has many opportunities for expression of creativity and development of passions and interests through participation in music, visual arts and drama, as part of the curriculum complemented by many extra-curricular opportunities. Each year the College present art exhibitions, an Arts Showcase of music performances and a live musical production.
Private tuition is available in the Music Centre with specialist instrumental tutors covering a wide range of instruments including bassoon, cello, clarinet, guitar, drums, flute, piano, saxophone, trumpet, violin and voice.
Sport is an integral part of the educational program at Woodcroft College, designed to enhance curriculum learning outcomes for students. All students are encouraged to take up activities that challenge, interest and excite them during their time at the College. Senior School students study the internationally recognised South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or Vocational Education Training in SACE as their pathway to future study or employment. SACE is a two year course completed over Year 11 and Year 12.

Info: The College offers an Intensive English course if needed and provides additional support in class through a dedicated English speaking teacher. The outdoor education program gives students experience of the unique Australian environment through camps and trips. Performing arts, sports and clubs provide excellent extra-curricular opportunities for students to develop new skills and follow their interests and passions. Cultural tour experiences are offered to students who study languages in alternative years to Japan or Germany and Italy.
Student Services & Orientation & Counseling: Woodcroft has a strong international focus with a dedicated International Programs team to support students in the enrolment process through to arrival in Adelaide, orientation to the College and ongoing studies. Subject choice and career counselling is offered to all students in Senior School to meet their future goals and interests. School Counsellors are available to provide additional support for student wellbeing.
Accomodation: Homestay
Info: All international students will live with a local caring family who are nurturing and part of our community. Homestay accommodation is arranged and managed by our Student Services and Homestay Coordinator who interacts with the students every day at school. Families are carefully selected to find the best match for the student and details of the family are forwarded to the Education Agent and family of the student for approval. All Full-Time and Study Abroad students will have their own furnished bedroom, including a desk for study. Study Tour students may need to share a bedroom. Homestay families live near the College or in surrounding suburbs and students will travel to school with their Homestay family, the Woodcroft College school bus (free of charge) or public transport.
