Info: Edmonton is the capital city of the western Canadian province of Alberta, and is a beautiful, safe and secure urban community. The city of over 1 million people is rich in a variety of cultural and musical events, and is widely known as Canada's festival city. Edmonton's river valley constitutes the longest stretch of connected urban parkland in North America, containing 160 kilometers of maintained multi-use trails to enjoy on a leisurely stroll or bike ride. The city is within easy driving distance to the spectacular Rocky Mountains.

Info: Our Homestay program is available to students ages 13 - 19 years. Students may also choose to reside in a private arrangement with family/relatives, etc. Students living in a private arrangement must also identify a private custodian, if they are under the age of 18.
Student Services & Orientation & Counseling:
Prior to arrival, students submit their travel itinerary to the International Programs office. Once the student's arrival date is known, they will be provided with details of a registration and assessment appointment at their school. Upon arrival, students must attend their school registration & assessment appointment at the given time and date.
The International Programs office and school staff assist international students in adapting to their new environment in the most supportive ways possible. Teacher and student advisors are available to counsel students on issues concerning school or program matters, personal well being, finances and transitions to post-secondary institutions. Multilingual/intercultural consultants are also available to provide translation services.

Info: Homestay Program Fees (per student, aged 13 to 19): The Homestay program offers all-inclusive pricing for all CHN services, including: registration, orientation, homestay host allowance, custodianship registration, student monitoring, 24/7 emergency support, airport pickup and return and a $500 emergency deposit (refundable at the end of the student’s stay, if not used).
2025/26: 10 Months: $ 16,015 CAD - 5 Months: $9,115 CAD
Extra nights in Homestay are at a rate of $50/night (for 2025/26), and will be invoiced in advance where possible or deducted from the Refundable Security Deposit if necessary. Special Diets: Veg, Vegan, GF, Halal, High Protein, Sports, etc: CAD 1125 (5 months) - CAD 2250 (10 months)
