Langley School District is governed by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. We have over 40 schools providing comprehensive educational programs to approximately 19, 000 student from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Government-certified teachers teach a complete government accredited and approved curriculum in all of the schools. Our International Student Program has been welcoming international students since 1989. We offer a wide range of education options which include Elementary, Middle,Secondary and Summer Cultural and Language programs.

Info: Our secondary schools (grade 8-12) provide an excellent learning environment with a complete range of academic courses. Students satisfying the Ministry of Education’s graduation requirements qualify to receive the internationally recognized British Columbia Dogwood Graduation Diploma.
Our middle school program is designed to meet the emotional, physical, and educational needs of adolescent learners from age 11 to 13 (grade 6-8). We also welcome a limited number of international students to study in selected elementary schools (kindergarten to grade 7).

Info: Our district is certainly located in the Greater Vancouver area, which is only 45 minutes drive from downtown Vancouver. We are less than an hour’s drive from the ocean and mountains and are only a few minutes from the border with the United States. We are in a beautiful setting along the Fraser River. “Where the City Meets the Country” reflects both the urban and the rural feel of the Langley community.

Info: Langley School District has 8 Secondary Schools, 2 Middle Schools and over 30 Elementary Schools. We have 20,000 full and part time local students and we have separately schools of choice. In addition, Langley offer an annual academic summer school and summer camp. Langley has a wide range of program choice that cover all interests and abilities including an International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement programs.
