Info: Our host families are an integral part of RMISP. They are carefully selected and must undergo Criminal Record Checks before being accepted into the homestay program. Their active and enthusiastic participation in our program enhances each student's cultural experience and contributes to the maximization of their time in Canada. Each family provides a safe, comfortable home environment, a private bedroom for the student with facilities for studying, and three meals (and snacks) each day.
We have six Homestay Coordinators who look after an average of 30 students each. They make sure that each student is placed with a family who is the best possible match.
