Sports are offered through our PE courses throughout the school year, as well as club activities. Popular sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, hockey, ultimate frisbee, pickle ball, table tennis, golf, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, etc.
Our GIFTED ARTS Program provides specialized paths for learning music, visual arts, and design. Students will showcase their abilities as young artists through performances and exhibitions, an enriched curriculum under specialists' leadership, and prepare their portfolios for post-secondary admissions. Graduates will receive the OSSD and the Laureate Gifted Arts Certificate.
Laureate offers specialized pathways in Gifted Arts (Visual Arts, Music, Design), Advanced Science and Engineering, and International Business. These pathways feature enriched specialist learning, mentorship, masterclass, career day, co-op placements, exhibitions, competition opportunities, etc.

Info: Laureate is a registered K-12 school currently offering G8 Reach-ahead and G9-G12 programs. Int'l students can apply for G9 to G12 entrance for two terms or a school year (four terms). There are four entry points a school year: September, November, January, and April. Applications can be made online. Auditions are required to enter the Gifted Arts program (Visual Arts, Music, & Design streams).
Boarding Grades: Boarding students are accepted based on their academic standing, characteristics and contributions they can make to our dynamic boarding life.
Day Grades: Day students are accepted based on their academic standing (a minimum of 75% grade average), passions and commitments to be proud members of the school community.
Dress Code: Laureate students are expected to wear appropriate clothing that is clean and not offensive, vulgar or distracting to others and reflect upon learning environments that are positive and respectful.

Info: There are four entry points a school year: September, November, January, and April. Students can take two courses a term and up to eight courses a school year. A full-time student must enroll for at least two terms (five months) to be registered with Laureate College. Registration cut-off dates are two weeks before the term starts date.

5. The boarding program coordinator will arrange orientation when boarding students arrive in person. The academic program coordinator will arrange on-campus orientation sessions with all newly enrolled students when they arrive in person.

Info: Our newly purchased (July 2022) campus spans a breathtaking 50-acre natural beauty in the Niagara Escarpment, featuring a 150,000 sq/ft main school building and a 4,000 sq/ft early years building. Our outdoor fields are home to walking trails, gardens, patios, gazebos, soccer fields, a basketball court, a vegetable farm, disc golf fields, an apple orchard, and wildlife. In winter, our students enjoy cross-country skiing, snowboarding and all kinds of winter activities on campus. Inside the building, a spacious lobby with a fireplace is perfect for our students to get cozy and bring a blanket to enjoy the warmth during snowy days. There are spacious classrooms, a commercial-grade laundry room, a piano studio, a staff room, a coat room, a 3,500 sq/ft activity room, a student lounge, a commercial-grade kitchen, a dining hall, and a fitness studio. The 2nd floor features a meeting hall, a self-study hall, classrooms, a balcony lounge, a chapel, and dormitory wings. Elevators are available.

Info: Our dormitories offer ensuite rooms for double, quadruple, and sextuple occupancy. The dormitory has a common area with sofas, a big-screen TV, a fridge, kitchens, and storage cabins for boarding students to hang out and relax during their free time. A laundry room is also available for boarding students. Live-in dorm parents’ units are on each wing. All school entrances are monitored and secured with fob accesses. Three meals a day are served buffet-style, seven days a week and prepared in our commercial-grade kitchen. Weekly housekeeping and coin-operated laundry facilities are available. The boarding program coordinator organizes after-school, weekend and holiday activities throughout the school year for unique Canadian experiences for our boarding students.
